Our new name!

Hi everyone,
We can announce that we have changed our name to Union Jill. Our new site will be up and running shortly. We will still be here until then.

Michael McGoldrick Support

We loved this gig at the Duchess.... always a great venue to play. The sound is excellent, the stage has fabulous lighting and the audiences are always great. This gig was all about excellent musicianship - it was a thrill to watch Michael McGoldrick's and the two Johns' superb playing.

Our next support at The Duchess, Stonebow, York is for Karine Polwart in November. Obviously, we are looking forward to that one!

TWO supporting Stolen Earth 17th September

We are really looking forward to this gig on 17th September. Stolen Earth are holding their launch at The Post Office Club, Marygate, York, and they've kindly asked us to support. We are even more delighted that we can offer discounted tickets with the code TWO17 on the Stolen Earth website.

Saturday night we are moored by the Kings Arms in York on the Syntan Barge. Music from around 8pm

Join us for a cosy night - it's pretty small in there! (Helen suffered a 3 year olds party on board a few years ago and has not yet recovered - time to face those ghosts!)

Lau support!

We loved supporting Lau last Sunday at the Duchess in York. Wow! What musicians they are! And funny ...... :-)





We are working on our Summer and beyond programme of gigs, but in the meantime you can catch us this Sunday (27th March) at the Yorkshire Terrier, Stonegate, York along with Steve Chapman- Smith of the Troubadors.

Gig!

Despite our intentions of kicking back for a few months to write and play in the studio, we have been invited to open for Emily Portman on Thursday 25th November at The Basement, City Screen, York (Coney St.).
